What is Policy Ingenuity?

Ingenuity can be described as practical ideas that are applied to solve social and technical problems. As society becomes more complex, increasing ingenuity is required to solve the problems we create for ourselves.

In Canada we generate a large supply of technical ingenuity, but are not as prolific with social ingenuity—specifically, when it comes to matters of public policy. We have a difficult time establishing an atmosphere that allows Canada to achieve its full potential.

Policy ingenuity is defined as the formulation and application of practical ideas that encourage governments, businesses, and communities to inspire actions that fix the problems we face as a society.

At CCPI we use systems thinking to generate the policy ingenuity to unleash Canada's promise as a leading world citizen.
